Yogi was featured in the circus as the fire-proof man. He was arrested for trying to steal the show's payroll.

Yogi Dakor has the ability to resist flames. Naturally this interested Doctor Doom, who hired him to oppose the Human Torch. Dakor's flame resistance was enhanced artificially using XZ-12 Device. Storm was tempted a near irresistible gift, a sports car. Much like Dakor, this car was also fireproof. A dose of nerve gas and Storm was captured. Upon completion of his mission, Dakor was placed in an alternate dimension until Doom had use of him again.
