This comic has been nothing but amazing since it's inception roughly five years ago. You'd think a story about the last man on earth would be nothing more than a 60 issue fuck-fest. But alas, it's so much more complicated than that.Issue 60 marks the farewell to Yorick and the gang and issue 58 is NOT a lame filler issue like you'd think. This has the most jaw dropping ending in any comic I have ever read. I have NEVER literally "dropped my jaw" to any comic ever.... until Y:58. If you love this...

I believe next issue is the last issue. This was a very emotional book. Things are coming together and going downhill for Yorick Brown. Alter, who I really really hate...which makes her a great villain she is such a bitch, captures Yorick's sister, his ex girl friend, his daughter, and his baby's mama. Agent 355 and Yorick explain to each other how they feel. And it leads to believe that they will be together and it feels special. Then the ending hits...355 dies at Alter's hands.
