I think this was actually a light issue for pop culture references. References were made to : Shakespear, Clint Eastwood, Stephen Hawking, Lord Of The Rings, Boy Bands, Tootsie,... and I think that's about it, yeah, so for a 22 page comic there were only six, okay a light issue. It was a decent one though, that solved on of the stories big questions. Not too many comics seem to have the balls to do that.
