Last night was the MTV Movie Awards. During the show, an exclusive clip was shown for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Check it out to see the Sentinels attack.

Unfortunately, the clip might not be viewable outside the U.S. Or at least that's often the case with MTV clips. Sorry.

You know what else started with a fight against sentinels....The last stand.

Anyway I am not remotely excited about this movie, but that is because I don't like the X-men movies in general. I hope this is a good movie though, XMen are so hit or miss when it comes to movies.

Still cautiously optimistic. I'm not really sure how well time travel is going to work yet.

ill say the same thing i always say. Torn, want it to be good because xmen are favorite by some distance. However, i really want fox to let go off the rights. Marvel could do this franchise so much better.

Incredible. This is going to be like nothing before. Let hope this time we can at lease satisfied with this movie. A lot of fighting and power is what I like.

Looks pretty good. I wonder if the use of a bunch of Sentinel drones is having an impact on Age of Ultron. I say that because Ultron is depicted as having a bunch of drones in several of his stories. I wonder if they will confine him to one body in his appearance so it doesn't look very similar to all the Sentinel drones dropping out of the sky there.

nice smooth tracking shots by the cinematographer gave a nice feeling of import but not frantic and over editied. REally cool to see Blink's powers realized on film, makes for such an interesting way to lay down parrale action and not have it feel so segemented or seperated.

You telling me a dude named SUNSPOT, whose powerup form consists of him bursting into a corona of flames... is NOT a fire based character?

Seriously? I'm not even being sarcastic, is he really actually not a fire dude in the comics?

Looks like they are going to make Bishop appear relatively impotent and gimp his leadership role. I hope that is not the case but it certainly appeared to be that way in the clip:

Everyone else's powers looked really, well, powerful, and awesome while Bishops looked lame and he had to get a charge from sunspot (a lame little charge at that. Let him absorb Some Sentinel heavy attacks and use them against them instead. Also Kitty barking orders to him? Sigh.

I was hoping that Bishop would get treated in the same manner as Falcon: respectful, with no subtle social engineering, and shown as an awesome asset with incredible action sequences.

I hope this clip is not indicative of how they will portray Bishop, I really do.

I hope Colossus gets more fight time and does some damage to the sentinels in this movie as well, because the director had him pretty much just standing around and looking around in this clip.

The Sentinels look more like Guillermo Del Toro-esque demons and less like robots also. Sigh, why do these directors always change things so drastically? A modernized version of the comic Sentinels would have been just fine. Also why aren't they flying and where are their robotic voices?

I heard he dies in the opening battle along with a few other notable x-men :(. Their deaths prompt the time-travel. Hopefully, I could be wrong but it does make sense.....

This looks absolutely awesome and I can't wait for the movie. :)

BLINK! This already looks awesome, I can't wait to see this when it hits the big screen. Old friends, new faces, lesser known members of the X-Men (at least to the general movie-going populace that is), and what looks to be some killer action scenes. Definitely looking forward to seeing this one. :D

Do tell more about Sunspot....depicted in the image below flying while engulfed in flames, and also capable of shooting fire blasts...isn't a fire guy. It appears "Fox" knows more about the comics than you do.

I hadn't heard that, but knowing the source material, and Iceman's relatively small status in the films, I had a sick suspicion that would be the case.

While it's cool that they even included Sunspot, the fact that Daniel Cudmore had a very, very short shooting time means that my comic favorite Colossus is going to get a flash of screen time and is most likely going to end up going out like a punk in the very beginning.... I hate Fox.

The trailer looks cool and I know I'll see the film at some point but I really wish they'd just give the rights back to Marvel.

This is cool looking but if the word "sentinels" wasn't in the description I wouldn't know what they were supposed to be. Like someone said above: so SICK of them trying to be creative. Look: it's called X-Men. The title of this movie is the title of an existing - and pretty bas azz - X-Men story arc. If the source material impressed you enough to spend $100 Mil fleshing it out JUST USE THE %^&*&!$(* MATERIAL. If you want to invent some s*** then let Marvel have the rights back and make up your own bulls*** superheroes. I haven't gotten over what they did to Juggs and Deadpool yet. Not just got it wrong, totally butchered it to the point I was actually angry. Not to mention the First Class NOT being the actual First Class. Pisses me off.

Wowzers..... Iceman looks great. The action looks almost like it's from a comic or a cartoon with how complex it is. FOX stepped up its game.
