Why would they have Magneto lead the O5? Old Man Logan would match the theme way more, (blah blah no such thing as destiny) and would be a better teacher than a former terrorist. And then Magneto would be on the X-Men Gold team.

@geekmangacomic: We don't really need anymore Old Man Logan in any other books. I don't they people continue to put a Wolverine in every single book.

If we are talking about a new direction for the future and destiny and all then maybe Cable should have been the one to lead the team or perhaps Bishop or Rachel.

But in reality you are trying to fix a bs and broken concept. They should just go home and be done with it. If they want a book with the O5 then the adults should get back together and reform a team or have the current O5 travel back to their timeline and have that branch off so they take a more proactive approach to Sentinels and maybe working with the Avengers and recruiting teammates earlier and maybe even actively trying to work with Magneto seeing that he is not the mustache twirling villain. That might be more interesting

@hawk2916: Cable as a mentor would be a genius idea. It is a shame they didn't go with that. And it would be a good way for Young Cyke to interact with his son.

Magneto is a strange voice. Possibly why the lose him. Not like it can't work, but it will be very difficult!

I have no idea as well. What the hell was Bunn thinking. He should've pitched for another current Uncanny-like title with Mags and others. He shot himself in the foot with this decision taking his magic to these rejects.

I think it is better for storm to train them. They have done training with kitty already.

It will be kinda awkward for cable and rachel to lead the o5 cos they are related to jean and scott.

It would also be good if psylocke would train and lead the o5 on adventures
