Worst Mistakes ?
@ Time
- So many beasts? There have been three.... original human(ish) form his transformed blue simian form and his current, feline form. The others you mentioned are alternate reality beasts.
- Nightcrawler, as Pix said, is only on one team.... well, that's not even true; he hardly even has that much of an active role. Wolverine is on X-Force, the Uncanny team, Astonishing and in his own book every month. Cyclops is on the Uncanny team, the Astonishing Team and he regularly features in every other X-Book etc etc. I'd say Nightcrawler has a pretty sore deal. Also, Jean and Kitty aren't even usable, Gambit and Rogue have only just returned to the X-Men, having been missing since before Messiah Complex.
- Keeping Warren as Archangel would just be a regression. His Angel and Archangel personnas are quite different too; we've seen the agressive Archangel fly into blood-lusting rages. That sort of behaviour would wear thin after a while.
- Kitty hasn't been confirmed dead, she's M.I.A.
- Jubillee is not the only mutant to leave the X-Men or the only promising mutant to be depowered.
- Do you get what character development is? It's a good thing. Keeping a mutant like Rogue with the same powers would have been a waste and pretty dull by now. What has been done with her powers is a good thing.
- I agree, Storm should not have married BP.
- Sisterhood was a poor story and a waste of time, but not having Jean return is an obvious plus.
- Firstly, Messiah Complex was an excellent story aside from a few minor problems. Secondly, having a single artist drawing the entire story would have been stupid. Each chapter would have taken ages to be released and there would have been very little to give each smaller plot its own feel. The art was also of a pretty high standard.....
- AHHH!!! Character progression. It's only Fraction that writes him as a retard; most other writers can write him correctly ie Joss Whesdon, Morrison and Kyle and Yost.. He's not like Gambit or Wolverine..... I doubt writers are trying to emulate that sort of personality for him.
- Uncanny is rubbish. End of. Ignore it.
(Most of your points aren't really the "worst mistakes" in X-history).
- Letting Greg Land draw Madelyne Pryor as some sort of dominatrix chick.
- Allowing Greg Land to get away with drawing ridiculous breast-sizes. Seriously? It does NOT make the women look more attractive. Just badly porportioned.
- Making Rogue's time leading her own team way too short-lived.
- Giving Emma Frost a black outfit. Looked awesome, but she's the WHITE Queen.
- Angel doing it in front of the girl's mom (so I've heard). That's just tacky and makes Angel look bad.
- Speaking of tackiness, all the bedroom scenes of Emma and Scott. It gives Emma a negative vibe. Show her in action on the field, not in the bedroom.
- Wolverine's over-exposure. It's ruining his character.
- Giving Callisto the powers of Quicksilver in Xmen The Last Stand.
- Making the Stepford Cuckoos act like air-headed vixens.
- Wanda's haircut in Xmen Evolution.
- Oh and how weak Psylocke appeared in Wolverine and the Xmen. She can put up more of a fight than that.
Ever since Xavier wiped Magneto's mind, things have just been lackluster. Every two or three years they've been trying to shove huge multi-title cross over story arcs down everyone's throat. Onslaught, House of M, Messiah Complex.
I started reading X-men again a couple years ago. Messiah Complex was starting to get good, I was a little disappointed with the end of it, but then they created Mrs. Sinister. How f'n lame is that?
kitty pride bullet
traitor bishop
locking alex away on a moon somewhere and scotts doesnt seem to care
2ndry mutations
people with omega potential never living up to billing iam looking at you iceman ! , and elixir
Bishop traitor wasn't that bad. But it was baldy handled.
Storm and BP...
Vulcan.
The no-evolution of some storyline : the eternal come back of the Phoenix/Jean Grey, the no-evolution of relationship of Gambit and Rogue...
M-Day : just lame. The worst is that soon, I bet we will learn that in fact it was the move from Loki and not Scarlett witch...and soon after they will come back in ten seconds...
Not making Magneto pay a visit to Norman Osborn during Dark Reign...
Always making Cyclops get the hot chicks. Yeah I know, it's the leader, but when you've read comics for almost twenty years, the gimmicks get old really fast...
" @lazystudent: I think most women would probably think that he's immature, which is why maybe he has bad luck with them. But now thinking about it I can't really think of anyone who I would like with Bobby anyway. "iam abit like bobby and i dont have problems in term sof attitude that is lol
Psylocke probably doesn't have much of a chance of defeating Emma, if she has one at all.
But she can at least put up a fight, couldn't she? Defend herself a bit better, use her psi-blades or mad ninja skills lol...
Psylocke wouldn't be taken out that easily.
Maybe she was still inexperienced. Or maybe I'm just being a biased Psy-fan. XD
" @pixelized:She wasn't a ninja in WATX-M, just a telepath. i would have loved for their battle to have been the entire 30 minutes, but she wasn't even the focus of that episode.

not that it matter she is deof alive in dark avangers sinc osbourn says about sending her afetr the other widow
" @John Valentine said:" FRACTION. "and there's no end in sight "
You're going to have to kill him, Pix.
10 Turning cylops to much into a bad boy, he was better as a boyscott, his bad boy attitude is getting lame. He not gambit & no way a wolverine, only them 2 can pull it off so well.
Lol no. Cyclops has done more bad ass things over his short period of character change than Gambit has ever done in his short existence and Wolverine stopped being bad ass years ago when it became so forced.
Oh and how has Fraction written him like a retard? He's written Cyclops as a tactical genius and big time leader, sure after the utopia thing he seems to have dropped the ball with him slightly with the "oh I'm just winging it" crap but up to that point I thought he was written rather well. Not up to Whedon standards but by no means bad.

He makes him sound like an idiot, making ridiculous choices and abusing other characters just to push his authority.
- Killing the original Hellions. They were so much better than the New Mutants!
- Killing Banshee. Just to promote Vulcan? LAME!
- Crucifying Skin after he left Gen X. So much power development gone to waste...
- Nurse Annie. 'Nuff said!
- Phoenix Warsong. WTF was that!?
I like Fractions run a lot. But im in the minority here. Love seeing the mutants pushed into the corner and fighting for survival, very interesting and fun read.
Bad?:
- Young X-men (just terribile, and making dust into a bad guy was super lame!)
- no more new x-men (and hellion sucks now, he was sweet!)
- Bringing Psylocke back (dead then alive dead then alive its like they keep trying to make her cool, but her history is way to convoluted, hopefully her new series changes my mind but i doubt it)
- Wolverine being in everything! how can he be everywhere at once?
- the new New mutants (they were older and grown up then all of the sudden young and in early twenties again)
- X-treme x-men
- Uncanny x-men (austens run then clairmonts run after that)
- A lot of the 90s stuff.
Killing off Madelyne Pryor during the Inferno (It would have been nice had they saved her)
ending mutant X (I loved all the character in mutant X)
Turning Nate Grey into a Shaman, instead of a hormonally imbalanced teenager like he was suppose to be (Blind leading the blind don't you think)
trying everything to make Psylocke interesting when nothing works (Not body swapping, power swapping, cool ninja demon powers, dying, coming back, purple or lavander hair, skanky costumes, and matching affairs. no amount of scandal maintains her)
Taking away Rachels summers edge, and making her the stand in Jean Grey.
the creation of vulcan (just...why?)
the insistance of effort to make Professor X out to be a bad guy (He's the Martin Luther King of Marvel comics HELLO!)

about the 90's
i like how John Valentine said deadpool, thats funny. financially, thats probably one of the best decisions for them. not everythings about money though.
ok i HATE emma and scott. so stupid. i loved jean and scott.
and does anyone else thing bone wolverine and animal wolverine from the 90s was lame? i was kind of upset about that.
- Fish-stick joining the X-men
- Magneto joining--their most powerful foe is now in their ranks?? WTF?!
- Emma stuck in diamond form--think that "might" change in Uncanny 518
I have not liked anything from Fraction other than Utopia and that may because the dark avengers issues in there. He writes like these characters do not already have an established character. His dialogue is also very hokey and you can tell that the character would never say that.
knocking off the punisher
restarting key books like silver surfer, iron man, thor, captain america, etc...
'killing' off kitty pryde
not coming up with new mutant/super powers
