The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Post mutants here that you think just got the general Shaft on their mutant powers...I'm going with Skin
As his codename implied, Skin possessed six feet of extra skin which he learned to use in a variety of different ways, from wrapping around objects to compressing into weapons to molding into different face and body shapes. He could also cushion blows with this extra skin. Whilst he could hide this extra skin with either baggy clothes or covering up, he couldn't hide his skin colour, so it was usually just pretended that he had a rare skin disease. Skin also could retract his skin for short periods and make himself look like a normal human, but the intense concentration would give him a migraine.
Maggot's Maggots could eat material and they gave him super-strength, I remember. They were also coated in metal. Maggot's powers were pretty awesome, IMO.
@Fleonix: Jazz has blue skin....haha and Beak was the backwards mutant power of angel...more bird than man. I dont think he could fly or anything either
At least Johnny Dee's squid chest could make voodoo dolls of people ...funny thing... while searching Johnny Dee I stumbled across Johnny Two Dicks instantly thinking "Jesus Christ I hope that isn't his alias"
"I always thought that cypher had pretty lame power and Beaks just plain sucked too."
Cypher could translate any language, which is why he was capable of hacking into governmental classified records allowing Kitty Pryde the chance to activate a rogue sentinel which set the sentinel programme back a spare billion dollars. That was before he even realised he was a mutant. The ability to speak and translate any language is really nifty. Anyone who thinks otherwise has only lived a small life at home with their parents & has no imagination.

True... Think about the possibilities, Binary Code counts as a language too right? Like Computer Language?
Complex computer languages, alien languages and regular terrestrial languages. He's handy to hack into Bill Gates' bank account, and when you need to ask for directions in downtown Tokyo. He's also cute as a button & less annoying than C3PO.
" @aztek the lost: haha he turns into a tree when he sleeps.......thats pretty horrible "
poor sucker didn't even get de-powered by Wanda so he's still an inanimate tree, haha, he could have the lamest miniseries ever :D"
Gregor took medication to suppress his unusual mutant talent. When he ventured into the underground with his friend, Nemesio, he forgot his medication and ended up evolving into a sentient tree-form when he fell asleep.
Gregor lived with his sister Mitya and her young son named Mikhail.
So he isnt an inanimate tree.but a tree all the same.
and it's not just when he falls asleep.....
Arboreal mutation caused his body to take root if stationary for too long, ultimately transformed him into an inanimate tree-like being with assorted root systems, branches, and even mutated fruit.
....just if he stops moving long enough.....
yeah.. this is definitelty the worst mutant power ever. (no sarcasm intended)
Qwerty had the power to see the options of every outcome of choice she made as well as every choice she didn't. This applied to everything, even something as small as flipping on a light switch or it off.
Bliss of the Morlocks has a freaky snake tongue with a poison bite....maybe not absolutely useless but pretty gross considering she has to unhinge her jaw *blech* not to mention Masque always "molds" her face into the form of one of the X-ladies so we have no clue what she really looks like. She used to look like Jean back in the original X-Factor and more recently had the appearance of Storm.
and what was that guy with transparent skin? That was a pretty lame "power" too.
Jazz sucked too, and although this wasn't explained, I always thought that his excessive drug use probably retarded the development of any powers he may have inherited from his dad (Mr. Jazz had blue skin too which was also nearly impenetrable)
@umbrafeline: I don't see why you would consider his the worst power considering the other canidates. Understanding all forms of language is incredibly useful. He was able to hack a robot just by speaking in binary. I'd say that's much better than turning into a tree or having blue skin.
