I just wanna know everyone's opinion which decade was the best for the goddess of weather.
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13417 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Which was the best decade for Ororo Munroe aka Storm?
90’s due to X-Men’s growing popularity at the time, they pushed her to where for the longest time, she was the most recognizable and fan favorite behind Wolverine and Magneto.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who chose the 90s.
80's without question. Watching her go from naive foreigner to hardened leader of the X-Men is the best arc of the 80's second only to Magneto. Ever since that decade she is more or the less "the black lady that leads the X-Men sometimes".
I can't speak for an entire decade--given that I don't read a lot of the really old stuff--but my favorite periods for Storm were the chunks of the 90's that I have read, and when she was in Black Panther. Yea, it wasn't super focused on her as an X-Man, but that was what I liked best--Marvel doesn't have enough titles where mutants branch out into the world beyond their fight for equality, and her inclusion in Black Panther was one of the few. The closest we got is Ms. Marvel and Moon Girl, and they're friggin' Inhumans.
@antebellum: its still the 80s, sadly she has been terribly underused by anyone in recent memory, she has played background character for the past idk 20 years easy. Hickman seems to be using her a bit more just recently so maybe that will change but still its the claremont era
@njchrispatrick: also she didnt get with black panther til the 2000;s
