To Start off there is many Characters in Ultimate X-Men. A lot of people deserve time, respect, ect. I am picking the most screen time characters with feats and story.
In this case Wolverine, Jean, Cyclopes, Colossus and Magneto, Rogue, Gambit in that Order
What can we say about X-Men in the Ultimate Verse? Well for starters, they are not Mutants from Celestial experiments, they are Mutants because of Government experiments looking for the next Super Soldier. They are feared, hated, and all that Jazz. Well else is there to say? They are gifted people in a world that hates them. Lets kick this off!
Wolverine
Wolverine deserves his own respect thread. I am lumping him here just the same. Wolverine is one of the first and by far oldest Mutants. He was there as the Super soldier of Canada fighting with Captain America in WW2. Known then as Lucky Jim cause he never died lol. He was then taken in by Weapon X and honed into the perfect weapon.
Healing Factor and Durability
If you guess Ultimate Wolvie is a Healing type, then you be right! This guy has insane healing feats. He also has Adamntium Bones. Now many people are under the idea from badly posted wikis on the internet that Ultimate Adamntium is inferior to 616. This is FALSE! I will cover it in the end here.
1) Durability vs Dazzler best hit. These hits kill 3 Sentinels at a time.
2-3) Wolverine tanks a blast that sends him from New York to Maine! He holds on to the evidence he ripped off and recovered real quick to get back to New York in a short time.
4) Wolverine gets pumped full of lead.
5) Wolvie is blasted with heat that is hot enough to melt his steel pipe bonds, and then heals in seconds of the fight.
6) Wolvie vs shotgun to the head.
7) Wolvie Healing Factor regrows Rogues arm in minuets.
Wolverine in these Scans Healing Factor repairs Damage from this Mutant who kills living tissue in seconds.
Wolvie hit by a 50 ton Semi going 50 MPH!
Wolvie gets ripped in half by Hulk and then climbs a mountain to get his legs.
The point is Wolverine Healing Factor is really good.
So good, Wolverine can survive as just a head! More Impressive is he survived the Nuke Missile Fury Launched!
Speed
Wolverine is also the quick Blitzer as well.
1-2) Wolverine too fast for Shot Gun Owner to respond.
3-4) Wolverine Speed closes the distance to this Suicide Bomber Mutant!
5) Blitzes Russian Mob Boss.
6) Reacts to Quicksilver who is near the speed of lightning and moving at the speed necessary to kill Cyclopes.
7) Too fast for Quicksilver to dodge. QS can go from 0 to Mach 4 in a instant! He also Thinks faster than normal Humans due to his power.
Wolvie hit by a Mach+ Speed Missile tanks being blasted thru walls, flips over it, and clears the blast!
Wolvie speed blitzes a Horde of Zombies in three blinks of the eye!
Claws
like 616, Wolverines Claws are his trademark.
1-2) Stated they are strong enough to cut thru Colossus near impenetrable skin.
3) No Incap for this guy!
4-5) Proves they can cut that Organic Metal!
Ultimate Adamantium
Alright, there is a huge ISSUE of people believing Ultimate Verse Adamantium is weaker to 616 base on NO REAL EVIDENCE!
Even Mention in his Official Bio as unbreakable Adamantium.
Yuri here is explained by Professor Cornelius (who made ultimate Wolverine Skeleton) that some parts of his Body has not been Ossified. This stands to reasons unlike 616 Wolverine who has IMPOSSIBLE Adamantium Joints Ultimate Wolvie does not. Only his Bones (except the one above) are coated. He can be with great strength ripped apart.
So lets look at this suppose Adamantium Breaking.
1-2) Both Examples of the Spine and Neck Joints being ripped apart. Not the Bones Breaking.
3-4) Again No Bones breaking, more examples of Joint area Ripping out!
So from we see, the Bones were never broken. He was pulled apart people!
Also misinformation from Wikias.
1) Hulk does not break Adamantium Tip Needle, he breaks the non Adamantium Vial part in Caps Hand.
2) Sabertooth does not break a Adamantium claw. It was always like that in its first appearance, for no explain reason. Perhaps they ran out of Adamantium.
3) This Adamantium Cage does not break, the Cage is whole and open. Did it have a Mechanize Lock that burned out? I see no damage to the cage.
4-5) Captain America's Shield was NEVER stated to be Adamantium. It was made by Henry Pym and Cap said it was Indestructible. Simple as that. His new Shield was made from Asgard Dwarven Smiths.
No Scan) Death Strike had her neck broken. Long Shot Reality Warps with his Luck Powers. No scan, Sry.
Stealth and Skill
Wolverine was a Assassin first and foremost for Weapon X. His skills both implanted and learn makes him one of the most skill beings in Ultimate Marvel.
Lets look at Telepathy Immunity for starters.
1-2) Wolverine shows immunity to Mind Control.
3) Showed great resistance to even Phoenix Jeans Mind Reading.
4) Members of the Brother, like Wolverine, have Thought Viruses vs Telepaths.
5) Weapon X Telepathy resistance is very effective and Wolverine's is the best.
6) Magneto sends Wolverine to murder Xavier because of his Immunity to Telepathy.
Wolverine is Radar Invisible.
1) Stealths Black Widow.
2-5) Out stealths Weapon X who had him cornered.
6) Actually stealths the Master of Magnetism!
Just as cap knows wolverine has some of the best skills and training implanted in his head.
Battles
Now we reached that time of the Battles!
Wolverine fights the New X-Team as a Dnager Room sim. Xavier input alot of work into that accurate program that Wolvie decimates in seconds. Everyone other than Storm on that team is experience fighter to boot.
Wolverine vs Sabertooth in their first Comic Battle. Wolvie at the time was getting roughed up.
Wolverine vs Sabertooth who this time underwent the Adamantium surgery himself. Close match.
Flashback Battle of Wolverine vs Iraqis naked.
Wolverine holds back in a fist fight with Cyke.
Wolverine wipes out Zombie Army.
Wolverine vs Iron Man.
Wolverine battles a large faction of Brotherhood of Mutants.
Wolverine KOes Sabertooth in the opening move!
Wolvie battles Hulk. Short Fight, Wolverine never gets KOed during the initial hits. Does go out of it for a few seconds when thrown on the mountain side in half!
Wolverine vs his spirit Animal, this deserves a place for the epic internal battle it was. :)
Wolverine fights She Hulk, easy win.
Wolverine vs Grizzly. Man vs Wild EXTREME!
Wolverine fights Sabertooth in another battle. Storm proves a liability in this one.
Wolvie puts down Thing! Anyone who saw my Utlimate F4 Tribute knows how superior Thing is to 616 Thing.
Wolvie first match with ambit without knowing his power.
Wolvie vs Gambit in a rematch. Gambit beat Wolvie pretty easy in the first match. Gambit had known what Wolvie was capable of, Wolvie was in the dark on Gambits Powers. This rematch showed Gambit getting badly beaten.
Wolvie pwns Russian Super Soldiers made with Vision Parts.
Here Wolverine battles a half powered Hyperion with no trouble. A full battle with Adamantium skeleton and Healing Factor tanking a half power Planet Buster!
Wolverine vs Yuri!
Wolverine vs the reality warper Magician.
Wolverine Decimates Sabertooth in their last encounter. He batles old Sabes again, then realizing Strom is in trouble, one shots Sabertooth, runs over to Cornelius, and one shots him with his trademark Decapitation move!
Wolvie vs a host of Sentinals with no probs.
Wolverine pretty much pwns Moria using the Banshee Drug against Wolverine.
Now we reach the end of our Wolverine Journey. During Ultimanutm they had to kill off Wolverine in the most spectacular fashion.
Wolverine tanks the Blast of Cyke and Iron Man. As a waste of Organs and Adamantium Skeleton, Logan still messes Magnetos world up. Mags only way to deal with him was Molecular destruction.
Poor Logan. You were the first biggest fan favorite killed, and all for a horrible event too. Miss ya old boy.
To wrap Wolverine up I want to show his future self, called Cable.
As Cable Wolverine loses his Healing Factor to Apocalypse, Logan had to rely on pure skill to live through the hell bent future. He beats the entire X Roster when he travels back in time to change things. Awesome showing for a non healing factor Wolverine.

Jean Grey
Jean Grey has always been a core of any X-Men comic. In the Ultimate Verse she is one of the strongest Mutants on the Planet and houses the Phoenix Force within her. she was always second in command next to Cyclopes. However, when both Xavier, Magneto, and Cyke died, she becomes the defacto head leader of the X-Men and Mutants at large. after Ultimantum she changes her name to Karen and for a time stayed undercover as much as possible.
Telepathy
The first half of Jean's powers. she is a powerful Mutant who was very skilled with TP. When she became Phoenix, she was second to none.
1) Jean controls the fractured minds of 50+ Maddoxes.
2) Jean TP can feel like being burn alive.
3) Jean uses her TP to blind people of the X-Men's presence.
4) Uses TP to KO Wasp.
5) Jean Multitask using TP to read the minds of many workers and maids, feeding images into Iceman Brain, and calming Kitty's nerves.
6) Jean TP can receive calls as long someone thinks to reach her.
7) Jean senses the bad intentions of these Weapon X from over 3 miles away.
1-3) All these scans show Phoenix is easily a world Level Telepath who does not need Cerebro to TP across the planet.
What is also Impressive is how Jean TP can by pass people like Wolverine, Nightcralwer, and Hulk who all have heavy Telepathy Resistance.
1) Actually calms a enraged Hulk.
2) Jean by herself block the many Omega Level Psychics from detecting her team.
3-4) Jean keeps Hulk under control, no one keeps hulk under control.
5) Jean puts Wolverine in Time Out.
6-7) Jean bypass Kurts defenses.
8) Jean by passes most of Wolverine Defenses without trying.
Telekinesis
The second half of Jeans powers. Her TK has always been powerful, even when she was Marvel Girl. It wasn't till she became Phoenix that she entered a League of her own.
1) Jean Brain Pops a poor scientist.
2) TK fire that was hot enough to melt steel.
3-4) Jean uses TK to burn this Copter and cause it explode.
5) TK fire that seals up Colossus Organic Metal. Same Organic Metal that shakes of Lava.
6) Jean uses TK to fly at high speeds.
7) Jean TKs a Sentinel into pieces.
8-9) Phoenix rips through Nuclear Blast Doors.
10-11) Phoenix fissures the Earth.
Jean TK can Atomize problems.
Her best feat as Phoenix with TK is when she contains a Nuclear Meltdown and atomizes a over a mile worth of land. She atomizes the land, the plant, the nuclear reaction, and even the radiation!
Her TK is also used for Durability.
1) Phoenix shields vs Bullets. Also a Speed feat of how her Force Field is thrown up before the Ultimates can pull the triggers.
2) Phoenix tanks 5000+ Colossus hit while he was enraged.
3) Tanks a Optic Beam from the much amped Banshee drugged up Cyclopes.
4-5) Tanks a all out hit from Apocalypse who overpowers Ultimate Thing!
6) Phoenix takes a blast from a Silver searcher, beings with the power of Suns in their bodies.
It is also worth Noting her TK can breach Invisible Woman's force field, no small feat, with no problems.
Speed
You wouldn't think it, but Jean as Phoenix has insane Super speed in Travel speed and Mental speed.
1-2) Phoenix Travels from Antarctic to Florida in seconds.
1-2) Phoenix travels across the universe scanning planets at FTL speeds with her mind for Heaven. She has in a Week scan and blew through most of the Universe till its ends, and then reacted to a Silver searchers halt at those speed. she then Travels back tp Earth from the end of the Universe in 1 day.
Resurection
As Iceman noted, why should he care if he dies, she can bring him back. She did bring Warren back to life as well the rest of the lives lost in the battle vs Apocalypse.
Time Powers
She even manipulates time.
Time Stop. Nuff Said.
Here she reverses time so all the destruction and death caused by Apocalypse would be undone.
Phoenix
What is the Phoenix Force? It is in the Ultimate Universe the being that birthed the Universe and gave life to it.
It took a collection effort of the Universe to Imprison her, as she was impossible to destroy, into Earth. There she waited to a perfect vessel appeared, Jean.
Phoenix released by the Hellfire Club. She Atomizes the Club members and then with her powers bring back the dead, cured sickness, ect. Xavier nearly kills himself in a brain battle till Phoenix decided to retreat into Jean.
Phoenix battles Xavier again, she clearly has the upper hand with ease, Xavier only chance was to appeal to Jean to take control.
This is Ultimate Apocalypse. He is a being that absorbs other mutants powers and has Xavier level TP mind Control on other Mutants.
Well, he overpower everyone including the Fantastic 4, SHIELD, and even Xavier. How well does he stand vs Phoenix?
Phoenix vs Apocalypse. Phoenix spanks... hard!
Phoenix has a battle with Omega Level Cyclopes doped on Banshee. No Contest.
