Who do you think are the 3 best hand-to-hand combatants from the x-ladies? And how would you rank them? (not taking into account strength)
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13420 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Top 3 female X-Men hand-to-hand combatants?
I'm probably wrong here since I generally don't focus on HtH skills, but I would say the three most skilled ladies are Psylocke, Kitty and Storm. In that order.
Up for debate and correction.
Didn't know Storm has those skills ..........Do u have info about this.................
Oh Storm definitely has melee skills. She beat Callisto to take leadership of the Morlocks, she also fought Cyclops to take leadership of the X-men. I don't rank her up in the highest levels of HtH combat of say someone like IronFist, but she can definitely fight. Only other X-female I would probably put up there with Psylocke and Kitty might be Rogue. But Rogue strikes me more as a brawler.
Like I said, I'm up for debate and correction.

Likewise Storm defeated Scott by taking his visor , which was actually a disadvantage by any means she took take that as an opportunity due to darkness but nevertheless that's one of the h2h skills i guess . Here Storm's skill description i got from the Marvel handbook
@biswaboxz: Odd, I would have placed her fighting skills at a 4, but this is the official source, so I guess I'm being a little over generous.
Did you find one for Rogue?

I don't knw much about Rogue in terms of H2H combats but once she fought Logan during training and Logan praised her because she apparently defeated him during x-men #103 , didn't remember the whole scenario or so i am not sure about this btw ......
@biswaboxz: Thanks for looking those up. The whole exercise might be moot though. God_Spawn mentioned Laura. I had completely forgotten about her!
So our top 3 are probably Psylocke, Kitty and Laura.
@god_spawn: I agree with you.
I nearly forgot about Laura as well like Ash. Almost put Domino as third, though I was debating whether we should attribute her luck powers for any of her fights or only ones that are entirely impossible.
@ashetdust: I guess I was going more on the principle of her being the Danger Toom, her programming automatically makes her a threat to even the beat hand-to-Hand fighters. X-Men: Blue gave me that impression anyways in this scan of her vs Marrow.

Well, a quick search brings up Danger vs Whedons Astonishing X-Men.

That’s the best I got out of a brief search.
@pyrofn: I think Danger is a bit difficult to classify for hand to hand...she is programmed to be able to challenge all the X-men at their best, so she of course has H2H combat data.....but other than her avoiding their team efforts to counter we never really see her use that. Its all just her tech.
That said, I do really love Danger and wish she got more attention....she had so many good one liners during the Utopia and Extinction team era.
"Welcome to the Danger Room" - to Sinister
@LordMordor: Yeah, I figured as much. I grew to like Danger after reading Blue, and I do want to see more from her.
Here’s an interesting idea. Why haven’t the telepaths Jean, Rachel, Emma, etc downloaded the knowledge on how to fight from one of the more skilled X-ladies? I mean they would still have to condition their bodies to be able to pull off the moves, but having the knowledge on how to do so would certainly speed up their time frame on melee specialists.
@ashetdust: but then they would actually be able to fight their telepathically shielded enemies, which is basically everyone, and not be useless?? Rachel not being knocked out in a fight? Madness, utter madness

Oh, right. Sorry!!
Psylocke
X-23
Frenzy
I dont know if I want to place Kitty very high because of her powers feels like cheating... she can hit them, but they can't hit her.

Then u can say the same for Psylocke for her being telepathic but i don't care about this btw

Not really because even if you take away her psi powers, Betsy is still a very skilled martial artist.
