Imo Emma and Scott is (was) the most interesting couple in the Marvel Universe. Their relationship is based on trust and comprehension. They have no secrets for each other. The little jokes and sexual allusions they make between them make the couple very realistic and endearing.
No more stupid declarations like: "Jean you're as necessary as the air i breathe"Both changed since their relationship started. Emma was everything Scott needed to become the fearless leader he is today . She forces him to confront his demons and gives him way more confidence than Jean used to do. For Emma, Scott is a chance to finally get out of this “villain” figure that she used to represent. She loves him more than herself , and his (fucking horrible) death had a terrible impact on her.
