It all begins in December as the X-Men deal with the fallout of X of Swords and look to the future. Here’s what’s to come next month:

HELLIONS #7 by writer Zeb Wells and artist Stephen Segovia will explore the aftermath of the team’s brutal massacre in X of Swords.

Writer Leah Williams and artist David Baldeon continue to investigate mutant deaths and explore the complexities that come with resurrection in X-FACTOR #5.

Kate Pryde and Emma Frost finally enact their long-awaited revenge on Sebastian Shaw in MARAUDERS #16 by writer Gerry Duggan and artist Stefano Caselli.

Mutantkind sets their sights on the galaxy and beyond in writer Al Ewing and artist Valerie Schiti’s groundbreaking S.W.O.R.D. #1.

An old foe rises in NEW MUTANTS #14, the beginning of a wild new era for your favorite young mutants by writer Vita Ayala and artist Rod Reis.

Wolverine reunites with Maverick and Team X in WOLVERINE #8, a special over-sized milestone issue written by Benjamin Percy with art by Adam Kubert and Viktor Bogdanovic.

The search for Captain Britain is underway as Excalibur returns to Otherworld in EXCALIBUR #16 by writer Tini Howard and artist Marcus To.

X-Force will stop at nothing to protect Krakoa, even if it means interrogating their own, in the action-packed X-FORCE #15 by writer Benjamin Percy and Marvel’s Stormbreaker artist Joshua Cassara.

And Cyclops makes a fateful decision regarding the future of the X-Men in X-MEN #16, written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Phil Noto.

In a press release sent to AIPT Editor-in-Chief C.B. I expect because tension needs to be built. And Mikhails has not really done anything aside from kidnap and potentially kill Quire....which is why I was very perplexed at seeing Quire had made it through the Resurrection Protocols.

Bewildered by the Bei & Doug union. Bei's powers make me think of the brown note from South Park.

Just a minor detail because the art is lovely, but if the Hellfire Club extends a written invitation, they aren't just stamping a bold, capital H in Times New Roman on the front. Wouldn't it be more appropriate in Krakoan anyway?

Seems interesting. Where Rogue. Where Gambit. If 2021 gonna be another terrible year for Rogue., i'm gonna be so annoyed. It's expected with Gambit, cause, marvel don't respect his character or his fans. I mean we got a rip-off Gambit "fantomex" and now a women version of Gambit. Why do marvel hate Remy so much. Looks like a it will be good year for Storm, so that's interesting. Is that Monet or Penance in the image above.

I was also wondering if Marvel was gonna use Mad Jim Jaspers again. Pretty good timing.

I don't know if Warren and Monet are gonna be romantically involved (unless they are and I haven't find out yet), but I think this is more related to the fact they have dark personas. Warren has Archangel, Apocalypse's horseman, and Monet has Penance, the prison her brother Emplate locked her in. I'm kinda excited for S.W.O.R.D., although let's see how the characters work together, especially Joanna and Fabian who used to be Acolytes.
