jean grey #9 preview emma sees Ghost Jean now
@pyrofn i hate to say this but teen jeen needs her boyfriend teen scott to "put out the fire" lmao
when does this come out
Nov 29th this wednesday :D
EXCITING!!!!
super excited!!!!!!! i wonder if they will bring up scott???? @pyrofn
Seems to be a similar gimmick to Mosaic, where only people he possesses can see him.
Though yeah, if only they had one of those power dampening mcguffin guns from X-Men Gold right now.
i love the art and emma and jean being civil???? im scared
This looks amazing so far! Maybe they will bring up Scott since that is the one thing that links these two women, other than the Phoenix of course.
I actually like the switch of positions, Jean being a little cold and Emma telling her that. It is believable because of Jeans explanation, the Phoenix is coming, putting Teen Jeans life in danger, and with time of the essence they needed to work fast. And it’s not too out of character for Jean because we see remorse after Jean enter Teen Jeans body, showing that it was good intentions all around. I’m surprised though with how difficult a time Teen Jean is having controlling a sliver of the Phoenix left behind, showing the truth in Jeans blunt words, if she can’t handle this, she was dead to begin with.

lol ur scaring me cause ......cullen said on tumblr, something about teen scott's life getting worse :/ o.0
jean merged with the phoenix. now, she's just a ghost. i cant believe that she'll help teen jean fight the phoenix when she can help her control it instead.

Emma is typically written as the cool and methodical one while the Jeans are more emotional and angry the reflection of the Fire bird
@hopesummersforthefuture: That is interesting about Teen Cyke. It might have something to do with his constant need of wanting to get back to a familiar space, aka the reason why Scott starts down a path that makes him controversial. Scott is always reminiscing about how good things used to be, something that Teen Scott Actually enlightened me about in the last book of Volume 2’s All-New X-Men. I had never noticed that about Scott until that issue of the comic series.

that was the series hopeless wrote right? Was it worth reading i skipped that entire era of X writing but im bored and doing some back reading so would you suggest it?
@mcklayn: I skipped it as well. I just saw an issue here and there, then the very last issue to see Jeen go back on the team she belongs on. Needless to say, Hopeless view point of who he saw Teen Scott as was pretty in line with the lore with regular Scott too. In the most recent decade, Scott has been reminiscing about the old days even before AvX and as I looked further back, we got issues with Scott that led to Emma becoming their therapist because he wanted some roleplaying about something in the past with Jean. Most of Scott’s radical decision making fall under what he misses from the past, he left Madelyne because Jean was alive (quite understandable), but he stayed because Jean reestablished the original team as X-Factor alongside Warren and Cameron Hodge, aka the old days. It’s annongoing theme with Scott that I never caught until that All-New X-Men issue.
