On that last issue of cable it was kinda gross that the akkari are written as the bad mutants and cable basically getting a clap from humans for putting down the "bad" mutants is patronizing. Again Duggan showing his horrible writing.
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13416 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Is anyone else done with cable after that last issue?
@pyrofn: Cable literally could have hide that from the humans but he had to have a audience
Cable isnt that powerful....in fact the strongest telepathic thing he's done so far without nearly killing himself was hiding him and Scott.
The series basically started with him needing Esme Cuckoo to scan the minds of people in houses on a single street.
This is faux outrage.
I've seen this same stupid argument elsewhere. Coupled even with the idea that this is some how racial because the Arako mutants are from Egypt.
Arakii mutants who believe in survival of the fittest got drunk and held a bar hostage for fun then attacked the people trying to defuse the situation...again for fun. They were taken down and the human crowd reacted to it.
Then, the same way Cyclops let the FF take Sabertooth into custody until the legal side of Krakoa dealt with things. He let them take the Arako mutants into custody.
This is the same way legal situations are being handled in Children of the Atom with the use of Kamala's law.
Kid Cable being immature and tone death is literally the main plot of this series....and there is so much wrong with people applying real world logic in order to appear "woke".
The X-Men have been fighting mutants that LITERALLY called themselves "evil" since issue 2 in the 1960s and yet people are implying a racial or social message about "good" and "bad" people of a race because 2 people broke up a bar fight that could've caused an international incident.....never mind that this was written by Gerry Duggan who is the only writer in all of Marvel who publicly makes his very liberal political stance known on a daily basis.
This is the thing that irritates me about people not realizing how much they diminish the actual instances of social messaging and societal engineering by reading things out of context and publically interpreting it as an attack on them. Stop hurting causes by saying things like this out of turn.
Gerry Duggan who is the only writer in all of Marvel who publicly makes his very liberal political stance known on a daily basis.
Wut?
@cattlebattle: not in comics like his Twitter is daily political stuff...which stands out

You've never seen Kelly Thompson's Twitter then, lol.
Yeah, I know. I understand Koays drinks a lot, so, he might have overlooked the fact that like every modern Marvel writer has a twitter timeline that reads like a University social science student.
@princesscadenza: Haven't seen you in a while.
