@supermanthor: Lol you have to really commend them for how hard they worked to get us this way. They took somethin that most of us didnt know or care about and turned it into a symbol of how out of touch and poor their creative was at the time. I mean really you take away QS's mutant roots and Magneto connection and now the only thing connecting the two franchises' is that Storm knew Medusa from her FF days....smh wtf?

no. I think it hurts the Inhumans more than help the X-Men. they don't need him and the Inhumans need their most popular well traveled character. I know everyone hates the Inhumans are just stealing the storylines of the X-Men. I do too. but I like the characters. I think telling the stories of what a modern day monarchy. but flowing through the other types of government that would come in the modern world and with proximity to the US/Nuhumans being from a democracy. what happens when the royal family holds elections to be more like Great Britain? what happens when a dictator arise? more so a Beer Hall Hitler arise after an WW1 esque event happens to the Ihuman kingdom? etc. X-Men reflect social issues and I think the Inhumans should mirror pass and possible political/government events.

X-Men reflect social issues

They don't really. I don't get why people always say this. If you accumulate the X-men issues to let's say 10,000 issues, 500 of them, if that, would be about "social issues", the rest are about punching robots and monsters.

I mean, whenever a new X-men film comes out, what are you more likely to hear more complaints about?? "The movies didn't translate the mutant metaphor well enough" or "Cyclops didn't do enough cool shit and Jean wasn't powerful enough!"?? I am pretty sure it's the latter.

I like the Inhuman Royal Family. Them as a species, I don't care much about. Ms. Marvel is cool, but her being an Inhuman has like zero bearing on her stories most of the time. And Moon Girl? Please.

However, I do like Black Bolt and his ilk. They are a very nice contrast to the mainstream Marvel groups, especially given the nature of their society and how it contrasts what the X-Men fight for. The 1998 Inhumans series is one of my favorite to this day.

If they made Black Bolt a mutant then it could prove to be an interesting arc, but the relative coolness of said arc would not outweigh the waste of it. If Black is a mutant, then he loses his relevance. Is he supposed to be fighting for mutants now? Why? They don't need him. The Inhumans wouldn't want him. What would be the point?
