Kinda feel the same about this as I do with any negative political/religious (especially religious) "message" in comics. It's uncool. Not horrific, not worth boycotting a book or anything, but very, very uncool. It's along the lines of slipping in an anti Muslim/anti Semitic message into panels.
Other than that, people (as always) are free to react how they may.
He put the verse on Colossus whose best friends are Jewish and Catholic. The writer of the book is also Jewish. Awkward...

lol Yeah, awkward...
However, I WILL say, if the artist had put some affirming or positive verse from the Q'ran, I wouldn't honestly have any issue with it. It's the negative connotation that I have issue with. Just uncool.
Wish I'd seen your thread sooner, wouldn't have wasted time making my own. My mistake.
This is definitely an underhanded and antisemitic agenda for the artist to insert into the comic. Ironic that it takes place in a comic meant to represent equality and tolerance. Syaf's ass is fired for sure when the media gets wind of it.
I always wonder why these artist and writers these days feel the need to voice their beliefs on every single issue. They act as if me knowing about your personal life and beliefs will bamboozle me into buying your book or whatever just because we may have similar viewpoints or whatever. The ego on these people is just ridiculous.... It's like get over yourself, nobody gives 2 sh@ts about your personal beliefs and political and cultural views. Just do what your supposed to and draw or write. If I crave bullsh-t politics I'll tune in to CNN. Religion I'll grab a holy book not a damn comic
With all the drama that's about to surround this comic maybe it will be worth some money in the future ? might need to pick it up before they edit it out in the next printings ?
It sucks. I wasn't going to read the book anyway cuz Kitty Pryde is in it. Just like some comic viners avoid Damian. I'll avoid her.
@batvibe12: U alt right people need to explain that insult more clearly. Ok. I don't understand which ones are SJW audience. Many alt right people dislike Hellcat. But she isn't an SJW era hero as she came before Captain America. Jane Thor is an SJW heroine, tho. Give a list of SJW heroes. Please reply.

List of SJWs:
@batvibe12: Your list doesn't make sense.
OT, good art wasted. Hopefully new art doesn't suck.

I thought Carol and Angela were SJWs?
Ok, yes, i don't agree with Islam, i'm opposed to it, yes, but i do not pretend to be all political here, as much as i'm against secularism politically, i think that in the current state of affairs, comics should be as neutral as posible, like, we all know Nightclawer is Catholic, Magneto is a Jew and Colossus can be a soviet type atheist or an Eastern Orthodox (as myself) depending on the narrative, but, seriously, putting political agendas, be it liberal (with which i do not agree) or be (with which i do agree, most times) it's uncool, heck, i don't think i'd even like all political libertarian references, or a comic suddenly set on a monastery, there are liberal and conservative and nothing politically geeks who are reading this comics, i think we should keep it neutral, the "Holy Terror" comic and stuff like Kamala Khan are two extremes i very much like dislike
