Art is good, I'll give it that. But good art, a good comic does not make. We'll see if they stay at the school and it's another Wolverine love fest, or if the kids get out to see the other side of the fence.

I wanted to enjoy WaTX, but couldn't stand the original artwork (Bachalo?). The art looks good here, I hope the story follows suit.

The concept of this book is weird to me... like is there going to be 2 version of Cyclops/Bobby/Beast/Angel running around now?

@joetucker: Chris Bachalo is hit and miss with me, sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes eh.

Have they said anything about Professor meeting these 5 yet? I would have thought that would be mentioned first and foremost.

They have not said anything about Prof X walking or wheeling his way out of AvX yet. I believe he is the one dying. Allows a way for Em vs Scott and he is a big enough hero to die to lead into Marvel NOW and he isn't very relevant to the point where we lose a major player.

They have not said anything about Prof X walking or wheeling his way out of AvX yet. I believe he is the one dying. Allows a way for Em vs Scott and he is a big enough hero to die to lead into Marvel NOW and he isn't very relevant to the point where we lose a major player.

Totally agree with you here. I honestly doubt it's going to be Emma Frost dying because let's be honest. There Scott goes again loosing a loved one over the PF. If anything he should loose Emma because she's like "hell to the no - I was telling you I was loosing control and you ignored me to go get Hope betch." That being said, I totally agree that it will be Xavier dying. He's obviously a hero in many peoples eyes and him dying would definitely be a drastic change for Marvel NOW and the integration with the X-Men and Avengers. So yeah, totally agree that it's going to be Xavier, because unlike most characters he's not a major player these days, and it would be a good death. =)

plus I'm being somewhat biased cause im a huge EF fan. Don't want to see me home girl die anytime soon.

I didn't even THINK OF THAT! That's so flipping true!!! What if they're missing something bad and when they go back something cray cray happens to all the 616 Cast. Ouuuu! I would love to see that happen!

I think emma will be in future books but the question is how, Teen jean and her interaction, after AvX I can see her going into hiding.

I'm not really that excited based on the pages I saw. I guess a subplot could be that the Phoenix might go for the young Jean instead of Hope, or something. The art looks nice but it looks like standard "Oh no. Time travel."-type reactions. It looks like Beast might have arranged for their transport in an effort to change the future.

Teenage Scott will be there so hopefully they won't make current Logan/Scott have romantic feelings for her it would be really creepy. What annoys me is that if Bendis wanted to write about the O5 x-men why didn't marvel just bring the real Jean back and reunite the x-men?

Maybe current jean show's up for the 50th anniversary of the 1st issue next year.

I can only hope that the writers handle jean well. Double hank and double bobby could be fun as well.

They aren't going to be mooning over her, she's 17. The point of him saying that is considering both men loved their Jean and now she is back untainted by the phoenix. Of course they are going to have some reaction seeing her like that.
