With both Original Jean and Scott dead, they should resurrect together or something. If the two were still married but one died and the other followed, if they both resurrect together, can they rekindle or restore their marriage. I don't really see how they could work out in a long term relationship. They'd bang for a while, might have an emotional connection but find their personalities don't mesh together and they'd break up.

Well they did marry and were together for years and prior to that they were together since they were teenagers all the way to adulthood. Then Emma came along and also messed things up but at least she only got truly together with Cyclops after Jean's last death.

Hands down Logan and Jean make a better match. Scott is such a boy Jean needs a man. Always felt Scott as the whiney child type. Jean can help Logan with his haunted past, while Logan steps up like a boss and makes her happy. Makes so much more sense to me.

Personally I don't like the pairing of Wolverine and Jean Grey. I think they are two very different people that do share some chemistry but not enough to have them in a committed relationship like Scott and Jean or Peter Parker and Mary Jane. But that's just my opinion.

Agreed. Currently writing a fan fiction simply titled, X or the X, where Jean awakens in the White Hot Room and is surrounded by three coffins containing the minds and souls of Xavier, Scott and Logan. She first tries to bring back the Professor but his mind did not pass to the afterlife (white hot room) and as she's about to bring back Wolverine, she decides to bring back Scott first and they have a deep and melancholic reunion where she and Scott join minds to completely understand each other. Then Jean, Wolverine and Scott go on a quest to recover Professor X's mind and soul and resurrect him. The three of them have yet to decide if they want to be resurrected as well with that decision remaining until the end of the story.

Wolverine/Logan is not hated. What is disliked is the coupling of him and Jean. Both Scott and Wolverine are massive ladies men.

@ursaber: the fact that cyclops had multiple affairs going on while he was married(with jean) pisses me off. Also the way he used jean's look alike while she was dead only to leave the look alike for a returning jean pisses me off.

Blame Howard Mackie's writing for for Scott abandoning Madelyne Pryor.

Also care to elaborate the other affairs he's had that do include actual cheating cause the most noticeable were his psychic sessions with Emma Frost. Just want to know is all.

Messing Cyclops and Jean up was all writer payback on Claremont's part for resurrecting Jean.

I had put my thoughts down before about the two, but I don't mind reiterating. As bad as the idea was behind it, I find the potential for the two to be a bit of a good fit under some circumstance.

While yes, Jean and Scott are the couple like Ross and Rachel, I find the idea of Jean and Logan to be somewhat similar to the Scott and Emma pairing potentially. What could Logan contribute to Jean? Well, if we think of Jean as the woman who holds back her power, except for rare cases where you really anger her, than Wolvie would be the one to help her cut loose, cuz it's Logans style. Logan was always a good confidant for Jean and she harbored an attraction, so it could work if given the chance.

As for Scott and Jean, while it was romantic in its time, I have personally gotten over and there seems to be an ongoing issue with Cyke and his inability to communicate his problems to his beloved. Even towards Emma, the one whom he opened up to the most debatably, it is evident that he still kept things from her and after the whole Phoenix thing in AvX, it inevitably went down in flames. I don't personally want Jean to go through the same relationship a third time when she knows that the first time ended up with him married to another woman who looked just like her and the second time ended up with him falling in love with someone else and her death where she ultimately comes back later but has to accept his relationship. I find the prospect of Jean and Scott as worse than Wolvie and Jean.

I personally prefer Jean single for the record.

The problem of Jean and Scott's relationship was the third wheel inclusion of Wolverine. During Morrison's run both Scott and Jean technically cheated on each other, Jean with Wolverine in physical contact and Scott with Emma via their psychic affairs.

My memory is a little blurry but I wanted to ask, did Scott cheat on Jean (discounting Emma's psychic affair) with anyone else or was unfaithful in the same manner Jean did with Wolvie (I remember that even though Jean and Wolvie kissed that it they shouldn't have done what they did and should never do it again).

BTW, in RYV its quite possible that Scott and Jean married but divorced and Jean got with Wolverine and Scott with Emma. In the comic Scott alludes to the fact that he lost the woman he loved but at the time of Civil War and pre Civil War, the Emma Frost relation was blooming.

Anything is better the scoot and Jean. She deserves better never liked there relationship anyway he was always the whiney boy she needs a man
