The exact quote, which is worded a bit weird. What I'm taking from it, is that she may be a spy for SHIELD - how that'll work is anybody's guess w/ all the telepaths running around.

Nrama: One more thing — the last issue of X-Treme X-Mencame out this week, and Bendis stated on the Loikamaniapodcast released Tuesday that Dazzler will be joining the cast of Uncanny X-Men, and involved with S.H.I.E.L.D. Anything you can add to that?

Lowe: Dazzler will be a part of Uncanny X-Men coming up. She won't be a part of the team, she will definitely, like Brian said, be tied, in some way, shape or form, to S.H.I.E.L.D. And I cannot wait for people to see how that is.

One of the things that Brian is really great at is working with other writers and with other comics that are going on. He respected what was going on in X-Treme X-Men, and so it definitely picks up on some elements that were building. So people that haven't been reading X-Treme X-Men, I definitely recommend picking it up, because Greg Pak has done some awesome things with the character, and it's a cool place to go look and see an iconic X-character get some good love.

Yep, not exactly the O5 I was expecting, but certainly after recent events, I guess the choice makes sense. Still I don't know why I thought they wouldn't be showing it until the release of the next ANXM, but glad they did, I couldn't wait any longer to know.

In my mind, it was down to him or Jean, so it wasn't really all that shocking anyway.

But, I wasn't sure how to take that phone thing. So Cyclops controls his new danger room with his phone, sure. But on like the very next page he claims that there aren't any phones; so is that inconsistent or actually sketchy?

I'm glad it was Angel, was not going to be happy if it was Jean or Iceman, haha. I'm glad to see that Dazzler will be featured in UXM, however if she's not on the team I don't really see how she'll be connected with them. Maybe a liaison to the UXM and she'll be the connection they have with SHIELD and she'll either green light them for doing the right things or give them the red light if she see's them going dark?

My bet was on either Jean or Scott. At first I didn't think much of Bobby or Warren since they seemed to just be background material, but like I said, after some of the most recent issues of ANXM, Warren seemed more and more like a possible option.

And it wasn't just that it was a little bit contradictory, the iPhone panel was also pretty much unnecessary, and the screen didn't really blend with the art, the perspective was a mess too. That panel was awful and even if I do like iPhones I didn't like the idea of using one as a Danger Room remote, heck, they even used iPads to locate Benjamin... It's not really about the brand, because I really like Mac and stuff, but I don't like that those panels seem more like publicity spaces.

Nick Lowe is so bloody annoying. Poor Dazzler. An agent of SHIELD instead of Storm's team.

Angel is the only character to not have development. I saw this one coming a mile away.

I think the main thing with having them not have phones is that their signals would be traceable, so maybe Cyclops had Magneto jerry-rig him one to not do that; a danger room override does seem like the sort of thing he'd want to have on him all the time.

Angel was one of the least interesting characters for years, to me, so this could turn out to be a cool way to make him a little more distinct. I'm curious about him now, anyway.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Sage... Currently in X-Termination, 616 X-Men: Iceman, Wolverine, Karma, Gambit, Northstar, Dazzler, and Sage are battling these energy consuming monsters... who knows who will come out. Obviously Dazzler, Gambit, Wolverine, and Iceman will come out unscathed because they are tied to any other series! Northstar, Karma, and Sage are in the air... I hope Sage makes it out of this crappy crossover and joins a team!

Not sure what their going to do with young Iceman now. There's not much that can be done with him at this point. Hank would've made a more interesting defector but I'm happy they did something with young Angel, who was easily the most boring of the 05 until now, considering that the other Angel had his mind wiped, and was basically a teenager again.

@papad1992: yes I love Sage, i would love to see her in a title. I think her attitude would fit Uncanny with Scott fairly well, she was almost rejected by professor X and made into a spy, she knows that Prof X had a Dark side and that he taught them to be warriors first, i think she could relate to Scott's train of thought more then most.

@dishonestsnakecharmer: I agree i would of loved to seen Beast defect, HOWEVER i also am glad Angel went. Not because i think he was the most boring per say but because i want real Angel in the 616, that whole body reset stupid thinks hes a real angel guy annoys me. I loved warren in 616 so giving him a chance to grow and become a main stay in a title will be cool.

Fun fact, he was also the MOST supportive of Scott out of the Original 5 during the whole utopia days. his train of thought was almost identical to Scott's he was basically running X Force for him during it's first stint, and shown to be incredibly loyal to him and understood it was time to push back and stop being pushed around. I think if it wouldnt of been for the whole life seed shit he would of sided with Scott this entire time, so seeing young warren there is a nice nod to that.

I feel like Wolverine's reaction at the end of ANXM 10 was only to lead us all to believe it was Jean who was leaving. I can't think Logan would have cared that much if it was Angel. Jean because of what they used to have and because of what she had with Scott, and O5 Scott because Logan wants to gut him just as much as he does present day Scott, I could see that, but not with Angel.

i cant say i was surprised but i was thinking that it might have been young Beast, given the period at which they were taken from time i think his ideals might be the most on par with Cyclops new squad

@spinningbirdcake: i totally agree on the reaction thing leaning towards Jean leaving, but i think you can justify his reaction a little by the fact that hes already lost one Warren, now hes lost another. and they've been pretty good friends for a long period of time, back when the Xavier Protocols actually meant something Warren was one of the people that could unlock Wolverine's.

All signs were pointing to Warren. Jean would have been an interesting choice if Bendis decided to use her as a double agent for Wolvie's team.

I actually hadn't been thinking of that, but now that you mention it, it does make a lot of sense.

@mcklayn: @ageofhurricane: Whatever title she belongs to will be better than what she had previously in the past years... which is nothing! But then again I don't want her characterization to be messed with like some characters have!
