If so, she’s slowly going from X-Men leader to Black Panther supporting cast.

She is not a Dora Milaje and will never be.

Wow, these all look embarrassingly bad. I'm just glad I was alive in that infinitesimal period of time when the X-Men franchise was popular and cool and drawn and written by somewhat talented people.

I mean, if you were a kid these days and presented with the Avengers, who have bad ass looking characters like Thor, Hulk, Iron Man and Winter Solider, or presented with the X-Men, who just look like a bunch of angsty metrosexuals, how would you possibly become an X-Men fan??

Nightcrawler deserves an ongoing solo. not just 5 issues.

Isn't Rachel always absent from alt reality stories?? Because she is an "interdimensional anomaly" or whatever?? I guess it's a double edged sword. On one hand, you don't have any shitty copies running around but on the other hand, you don't get to take part in popular crossovers.

Marvelous X-Men looks exactly the same as X-Men Gold, to me that title got real old real fast and I'm not so inclined for another round.

Why was bishop imprisoned but not jean?I wonder if that happened before?Is beast in there because of the same reason?

@mrnihal: It might have to do with Jeans power and Nate’s bias. Let’s look at the personality of Jean and Bishop:

Bishops powerset involves him absorbing energy, so his difficulty would depend on how much energy he has and what is in his arsenal of weapons. He would be follow the rules strictly so long as they are fair to everyone and everyone is happy. By his paranoia from his dystopian future will have him question anything the minute something is out of place. He will dig and dig until he accomplishes his goal or someone stops him physically.

In contrast, Jean is a naturally powerful and skilled psychic. Unlike Bishop, she is a lot more trusting until you cross her. If she doesn’t see where the problem is, she isn’t gonna question anything, even if someone expresses doubt. And given that her powerset is to read the thoughts and emotions of others, it would be very difficult to hide anything from Jean, which would explain why her guard would be more down.

So, let’s look at this strategically. Bishop has military training and builds power from what he absorbs. Jean has experience as an X-Man and enough power to contend with some of the most powerful psychics on earth and possibly the universe, barring cosmic entities and gods. X-Mans police involved Iceman, Psylocke, and Monet. With all this in mind, it makes sense that the least amount of trouble would come if Bishop were taken and Jean were reconditioned. Recondition Bishop? He can become suspicious of something feels like it’s missing. Fight Jean? You better have a knock out plan because if you don’t down her quickly and you can’t handle her power, you will lose. Monet, Psylocke, and Iceman went for a direct approach. Try that crap with Jean, you end up pissing her off and making an enemy of one of the most powerful telepaths who may just be capable of meeting X-Man in a good fight.
