I suppose we can assume that's because he knew that she was in charge. We don't see him being told this though so my sense was it was more personal than professional.

I’m pretty sure we already established that Scott wants to be with Jean, multiple times. What I always keep telling you is that Jean’s end is the problem. Not Scott’s.

All of that is true except for the last part about wanting to be close. Nowhere does she state she want to be close to him. She said she wishes he were there with her. They were best friends and lovers, of course she would miss him.

But there is a phrase I always use whenever you bring up how Jean misses him:

Those are not grounds to wanting a relationship.

first, tom taylor dont know what he wrote have the time..........one minute he pushing jott(ie phoenix resurrection 5) then pushing jean/logan(ie x-men red annual when jean said she wanted to visit laura and gabby)

second, i was reading other boards, and they mentioned that it was wierd of Morrison how he planned to have jean die with logan in space then to come back to earth and die in scott's arm (come to think of it, there is too much writers changing and its hard to keep up with all the "inconsistency" lmao)

im tired of waiting for who jean is going to be with(just make a decision already stupid marvel)and we all know one thing, it aint going to be Bishop LOL

The image, and possibly the contents of the issue, is a play on the events of X-Men 98-99 from the 70s. Jean is wearing the same dress she had on the issue, is being accosted by a Sentinel, like in the story, and Scott is wearing the same thing as well, well, from what you can see he is.

The notable difference being is apparently Jean has the Phoenix in that image, which she didn't have until the conclusion of that story.

It's probably an alternate/what if type story.

According to this pic VV, its a major team change........the first being "giant-size x-men"(with storm, nightcrawler, colossus, banshee,Wolverine) then the second wave was 90's gold and blue teams, then age of Apocalypse was the third and grant morrison's ever big change(scott ends up with emma, jean dies, cyclops takes charge of x-men away from prof X, )

its says "a new story" (guessing featuring scott and jean) .....maybe the cover is just a cover and has nothing to do with 70's x-men......maybe its just a story after "age of x-man" and how scott and jean see each other for the first time since PR

also says "marvel 25th anniversary" (but its not 25 years from the 1975 comics) what do they mean by "25th" @cattlebattle ???
