    The Deadpool we know and love. 0

    I've always been a fan of Deadpool, he was probably the first character that got me into comics and he's had his fair bit of good writers (Joe Kelly, Duane Swierczynski) and bad writers (Jimmy Palmioti, Daniel Way) but he's always had some bit of attraction to me, something that always dragged me in. Well there is a lot of that here in this one issue.   The beginning of the book is actually really hilarious, with Deadpool interviewing some screenwriters for his upcoming Deadpool movie staring Ry...

    I'm fairly new to comics and have never read a Deadpool comic before in my life.  I went into this not knowing what to expect, and came out quite enticed.  Since I have never read another Deadpool title before, I can't compare the quality of this comic to other issues.  That said, the premise of the comic is what really piqued my interest from the get-go.  Deadpool interviewing directors for a movie about him- brilliant.  So, Deadpool doesn't like a director's artistic vision.  What does he do? ...

    Ah Deadpool. How you quickly grow more and more over-exposed every month. With 2 ongoing books, a maxi-series, and 2 mini's, plus one shots and guest appearances in other books, Deadpool is all over the place. The quality of the majority of these projects is less than stellar, and it's really unfortunate because I am growing worried that Deadpool will go the way of past characters with over-exposure, and will be in every book to boost sales and the quality will suck. Luckily here though, quality...
