    X-Men: Legacy #273 Review

    Overview:

Rogue settles the dispute between the Vray and the Hive Mind.

    The Good:

The story is over. While it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good, it was just filler until AvX was over and now that Rogue is returning to Earth, at least the tie ins are almost, if not completely over so the main story can continue. The story was alright and even though the ending could be seen a mile away, it was interesting to see how many of the potential loose ends were covered. It made for a more complete story and was nice to see in a filler arc.

Christos Gage did a good job with the writing but it feels like there wasn’t a lot of feeling in the story, while it is just filler; it didn’t really make you want to read the story.

The art by Rafa Sandoval was as it has been in the last several issues, not particularly bad, but not great either. However this issue did seem slightly better than the previous ones.

    The Bad:

Nothing major was wrong because there was nothing major about the issue that was good or bad. The writing did seem to have a certain amount of tiredness to it, like it was written for a paycheck and not because anyone was particularly interested in the story.

    Verdict:

An exceedingly average issue that has nothing major going for it but nothing major going against it either because it was just filler. Now that this little adventure is over, the story needs to start strong after all of this AvX craziness because this arc fell a little flat as filler tends to.
