A Lot Slower of a Pace Than I Thought It Would Have 3
With the way the last issue ended, I thought this issue would start off with a melee fight or something. Nope. Rogue’s amatuer teleportation ends up with her separated from the rest of the group. I’m not sure I entirely buy how quickly the situation difuses where she is, but whatever, it’s not a deal-breaker. So, the X-Men are in space…. Yo, guess what? The Shi’ar are involved. Surprised? Someone needs to have a word with the artists 2
Sub-par art, on the cover and in the comic! As for the story, the pace is slow, dialogue makes little sense at times, and the sequence of events leaves characters just kind of floating around with weird looks on their faces for multiple panels at a time. Rogue suffers the worst of this- she gets hit in the head, stumbles to the ground bleeding, gets up and stands there blankly with a pool of blood on her face that seems to have dried and refuses to run, then just stands there looking blank for ...
