    Presently, in My Future's Past

Rogue and Magneto have a heart to heart, Frenzy owns her rage, and legion owns himself.

    The Good
The art by Rafa Sandoval is a big improvement to last issue's

Carey write's a great Magneto and doesn't fall into many of the traps other have when writing about his past

I like what he's doing with Frenzy, he's delving into her psychology and I'm excited to see where that goes

Carey sets up some interesting things on the horizon concerning Legion

    The Bad
Not a fan of this cover, Rogue's facial expression and the way she's holding Magneto doesn't fit with the nature of the cover. And Magneto's facial expression is a bit much, very mellow dramatic.

There's some coloring hiccups on the last few pages

Dr. Hirt, the Nazi Dr. from Mags' flashback is pretty generic I mean look at that name. On top of that Sandoval doesn't help matter by basically drawing him as Hitler.

I had originally written a longer, much more thoroughly exhaustive review of this issue. One in which I critiqued Carey's company man stance and the general handling of Rogue. I don't get paid to do this so I don't care enough to rewrite all of that. Hell, I'm sure I've covered all of that in a thread or two already. So I'll keep this short, Rogue and Magneto hook up. It's insipid, insulting, and infuriating all at the same time.

I appreciate getting a lot of story, but I think Carey tried to split the focus too many ways this issue.

    The Verdict
Check it out. Legacy's in a good place to jump on has a lot of potential right now.
