    "I do not care!"

A second coming tie-in features the team that is sent into Limbo to find Magik.  The formation of the team that is being sent in is revealed, as well as the confrontations that happened before they left.

    What You Need To Know

Magik - Illyana Rasputin - was forced into Limbo after she attempted to bring Cable and Hope to Utopia.  Numerous members are not a fan of her.

    The Good

Chris Yost does a good job briefly summarizing what happened, while still fitting the story into the continuity of the event.  His characterization is something that always stands out in his work.
Harvey Tolibao artwork is consistent throughout the book.
Scott and Peter's interaction in the beginning of the issue is something that will stick in my mind for a while.
Chapter 6 makes more sense after reading this tie-in.

    The Bad

They don't actually go into limbo until the last few pages.  It's more about how they formed the team to go in.

    The Verdict.

This tie-in isn't essential to Second Coming, it is however insightful into why some things happen in Chapter 6.  It's written by Chris Yost and it's a fantastic read.  You need to know what happened in the early parts of Second Coming to understand what happened completely, but this issue is mostly read-friendly (although I don't understand why you would pick this up and not be following Second Coming.  I would suggest you read this before Chapter 6.  It was a good issue, there was some character development and some more confrontations.  If you're following the arc, this isn't essential but it's a nice tie-in that isn't pointless.

      Review: X-Men: Second - Revelations: Hellbound #1 0

Cannonball gathers a posse of X-Men together for a special mission: rescue Magik from limbo.  THE GOOD  A lot of times I'll criticize a comic if it's full of talking heads. I now have this to point to as a counter example. This is how you do a dialogue-driven book. Every single character has a clear and unique voice and it's utterly compelling to see how they interact with one another. Hell, it's even great to just hear how their opinions on Magik differ. ...
