WARNING! WARNING! A NEW CHARACTER HAS BEEN UNLOCKED!
Well, Viners, it seems that TOAD will be making another big screen appearance, this time played by Evan Jonigkeit.
"Back by popular Demand"
"Fan Favorite"
"Because everyone begged for it"
These are things that probably won't be uttered about the latest mutant addition to X-Men: Days of Future Past, as we'll see a young Toad in the "past" story, played by Evan Jonigkeit. Still, the actor is excited to play the character, and to show how he becomes the guy that gets struck by the cheesiest line in the entire X-Menfilm seriesyears later.
"I read a lot of the comic books. I found out the storyline of my character, who is Toad," he told MTV. "X-Men fans will know that Ray Park played him in the first movie, so it's a generation story of how he came to be. It's really cool."
Yes, this means we're seeing the mega-cast X-Men: Days of Future Past grow by one once more, just a couple weeks after decreasing by one when Rogue's only scene in the film was cut. Jonigkeit did say that he won't look exactly like Ray Park's version of the character from 2000's X-Men, but couldn't reveal more.
Of course, Toad is a founding member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, a team also featuring Magneto, Quicksilver (who is also appearing in this film, making his big screen debut), and in later incarnations Mystique (amongst many others), so his inclusion could be as a founding member of Magneto's squad once more.

A few weeks ago it was reported that Rogue was removed from the film to make room for more story and now it seems we'll be treated to Toad (again).
Thoughts on this, Viners?
