    The X-Men 2099 are sidelined from their fight with the Undead. The Undead's leader Graverobber have left the battle with Skullfire's body. In Halo City's attempts to become a free-society away from corporate control, Cerebra's father reunites with his daughter, cyber-reporter Gunnar Heywood records Skullfire's reanimation by Graverobber, and the X-Men attempt another battle against the Undead in the streets.
