    X-Force: Sex & Violence Issue 2

Warning: For those of you who are lame, wimpy, cannot take awesome, and just downright suck, this comic will not interest you. This comic will have too much sex and violence for you, and if you buy or read this book and expect anything other than that, you are an idiot. Becuase what this comic does is essentially try and ooze manliness, and while not perfect, I gotta tell ya, it gets those old adrenaline juices going and revs it up to 11. Thanks Kyle and Yost, I'm going to miss you.

The issue begins where last issue left off, with Raszorfist demanding to know where all the money Domino is being hunted for went. A good question, however Wolverine doesn't like the idea of the Assassins Guild killing Domino so the two of them fight their way out and escape and I'll leave the fantastic details of how they do it and what is said a mystery. Domino reveals more of the backstory to why she is so heavily pursued and reveals the money, and it's a big pile of cash. Shortly after, Domino and Wolverine get down to the Sex part of the title but the Assassin Guild had Razorfist place a tracer on Wolverine, and the Guild attacks. After another close encounter, Wolverine and Domino decide to move the money to New Orleans where they have company waiting...

The story for this comic is really quite simple, and while that could drag a book down, in this situation it is exactly why the book works as well as it does. It's nonstop action and excitment and reads much like a mixture of every action movie you could think of. What that means then is that the dialogue is fantastic, with great exposition to describe the past events and great interactions and character dynamics to keep the current story moving at a breakneck speed. The only time the book slows down is when Wolverine and Domino are alone together, but they are brief and serve largely as breathers for more action.
Art is actually a little bit disappointing. NOW WAIT. Before you jump on my case about nitpicking what is fantastic art, I do have to say that the art in this book is heads and shoulders above most others. However, given the art of last issue, I know that Gabriele Dell'Otto is capable of more. That being said, the actual layouts and images are suprior to last issue, it's in fact the rendering of the images that just doesn't feel as finished as last issue. So it's essentially the same quality, it just varies a bit in what is better and worse.
Overall, this is a nice, fun, violent book, but it's very enjoyable and I'd say if you just want to see Wolverine unleashed, buy this book. It's a nice cap to the Kyle/Yost run of X-Books as well, and leaves you satisfied.

I don`t give out the 5 stars often, the last time I did was for...well, well, the first issue of this mini-series. Highly anticipated the second installment and once reading it, I wasn`t disappointed - X-Force: Sex & Violence is bloody OUTSTANDING! The story, once again, moves along at a rollercoaster pace. And, it`s pretty brutal stuff - nevermind the brief hotel room bed-wrestling between Logan and Domino (although maybe that was the scene many readers have been looking out for (??)) - the...
