"Warning. New Mutant Powers Detected." 0

Second Coming Chapter 13, X-Force #28 finds Second Coming just about over.  X-Force was seemingly successful in the future and with the help of Cable they are able to return to the present...but at what cost?  As Bastion apparently loses will he accept defeat or will he do something drastic and pull out an ace?    What You Need To Know. You should have been reading this, if you don't know what's going on in this event, I don't know where've you been.  Hope and Cable.  Nightcrawler is dead.  Hope...

    THIS ISSUE MADE NAUSEOUS 1

THIS IS WHAT COMICS SHOULD BE!! From page 1 I felt I couldn't read fast enough. The anticipation and excitement to read what was coming next made my tummy hurt, I'm serious. The anticipation/excitement felt kind of like the shock and excitement you get at the end of a movie when everything comes together or the mystery is resolved, like "V for Vendetta," the first "Saw" or "Memento." I was unaware how emotionally invested I was but this issue really reminded me especially the stuff with Hope and...

    Predicatble but still good 0

This is a great issue of X-Force. The fantastic foursome of Kyle, Yost, Choi & Oback create greatness once again.    Now there are two things that kinda make this issue meh: 1. It's utterly predictable. We all knew the character that dies was gunna bite it, we all knew Hope was gunna unleash her powers and the day is saved. #2 is that SC has just gotten dare i say...tiring.  ...

    It's An "X-Force" Book, It's Good 0

I could either write a normal review or just tell you that it's an "X-Force" chapter of "Second Coming." The crossover storyline has had its ups and downs, but not one down has come in the "X-Force" book.      Mike Choi and Sonia Obeck turn in another gorgeous issue. I wish those two were cloned to do every issue of "Second Coming" because the art gives this issue an epic feel. Even without an inker, the lines are tight and clean. The characters don't share recycled body frames, everyone lo...

The messiah for the mutants is here 1

Cover The cover is really showing a religion aspect of it. It is showing that she is rising like Jesus did. She is the messiah to the mutants. I really liked the cover. The art was also great on the cover. Story The X-force team comes back to the present from the future everyone comes out alive except Cable. Bastion still does not think it is over to kill Hope and is going to do everything in his power to kill her.   Hope remembers from the future when she was talking to Cable about when she wil...

"It's better to burn out than fade away."-Neil Young 0

Story: We have reached the near end. Inside the dome everyone is waiting for the X-Force to come out of the nucleus. They come out damaged and hurt. Nathan does not make it and dies. Bastion is ready for the final showdown. Hope remembers to when Nathan told her she'll know when it's time to go back. Scott is trying to console Hope but Hope blames him for everything. Bastion sends a crashing beam through the Golden Gate Bridge. Hope and Bastion fight for the last time. Hope kills Bastion. It end...
