This issue starts with U-Go Girl interrupting The Orphan's suicide attempt ritual of Russian roulette. This point The Orphan is still denying he want to kill himself and lies the gun is for a stalker in which U-Go Girl believes it.

This issue becomes an issue about saying good bye. The new members of X-Force have to say good bye to their family and friends. Now with the closure of good bye the new X-Force team is sent on a mission to rescue a mutant boy in a communist country. The issue leaves off in a cliff hanger with the boys life hanging in the balance.
