As much as I like Madrox, Havok is a born leader

Alex doen't know this team.  Jamie has been with them (in more ways than one) for many years now.  He may be flawed, but it's his team.  He created this investigations team & has the knowledge & skills to boot.  Havok is just a brawler with a Cyclops-wannabe complex.  Although it'd be interesting to see if one of his dupes goes for Alex or Lorna first... ;)

Agreed with everything. If they remain an investigative team, then I don't see how Havok can just come in and take over. However, If they cease being an investigative team and instead becomes another X-team that does missions on behalf of Wolverine (which I suspect will be the case), then no question I think Havok should lead.

I've been saying this in various threads yet no one is ever satisfied.

How could Alex, who literally just dropped out of the sky, possibly lead this team? As if Monet would even let him.

At this point X-Factor is totally different. It's not a government-run mutant strike team. It's an private investigations agency, and I think it should stay that. Plus, I like Havok leading the "cosmic X-men" team.

Havok has lead Strong Guy, Polaris, Wolfsbane, and Madrox before for awhile!! He was on the same X-Team as Longshot was back in the day... I know things change but seriously.... Havok for the win!!! He'd probably be just unknown about Siryn, M, and Layla!!
