What I think: After the events from the last story arc X-Factor takes time to showcase Pip. I personally have not back story on the character so for me it was good to see a feature issue. The writing and book gave me that old detective Noir feel when I read it and I really enjoyed that. When he gets a message that "X-Factor will Fall", Pip races back to their base of operations. During the cab ride Pip narrates about how X-Factor could not function without him, and that basically he is X-Factor. It goes on to show how he helps the team earn money and even fend off the Friends of Humanity. In the end we get a shocking realization of how true the statements, "Pip is X-Factor" and "X-Factor will Fall" are.
