    Poor Darwin 0

    As someone who really has not cared for Peter David's handling of Darwin, this Darwin-focused issue of X-Factor is the least enjoyable issue since the series' Secret Invasion tie-ins. This is not only for Darwin's handling but also the fact that this is just a purposely confusing issue.  Darwin's mutant ability to quickly adapt to survive anything is a really unique and interesting power, but David has always handled it in a very over-the-top fashion that often seems to go outside what the power...

    Issue 214 of X-Factor.  The Story: Darwin is in the desert just wandering but meets an old western hooker and she takes him to a town were the sheriff is talking about the apocalypse and reveals that he is the son of somebody Darwin knows.  The Good: As always Peter David makes this issue very fun,putting in referencial humour were it makes sense and even tho I know very little about Darwin I still care for what is happening to Darwin very quickly and the set up will pay off in the biggets way p...

    Darwin has decided to take a break from X- Factor and is now on his own after the confrontation with Hela. As he walks on by, he encounters a damsel in distress, a giant dragon, and a long forgotten western town, ripped right out of movies, literally.   The Good: Peter David knocks another issue right out of the park.
