    In Very Good Hands

The Lead Up-Everything that is important in x-23's past but most importantly New X-men and when she was a part of Yost's and Kyle's run on X-force. Luckily for you if you haven't read all of these stories there is a good summary at the end of the comic but those other ones are worth a read!

Art-This artist does a great job of drawing X-23 as a girl again. And she hasn't been drawn quite this way since NYX. And I can only tip my had to Will Conrad to make her outfit quite similar to her Outfit to the one she wore from Target X. While it didn't need to be exactly the same outfit, an excellent homage, and is more realistic because girls buy different variations of the same style (I have like 5 different pleated skirts).

Writing- Marjorie Liu had a lot on her shoulders. For the most part, X-23 has been handled from her Godfather's Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost. They have even handled her since she was introduced in the TV show x-men evolution, and for the most part since then. But in this first issue, it seems evident that she is well read of X-23's past experience, most importantly in New X-men and X-force, and how this has reacted to her psyche and relationships, especially between herself and Hellion. We also see Ororo still taking Nightcrawler's death hard, because in the time-line it really hasn't been long at all.

Cover- Well drawn and colored, but doesn't feel evocative to the story.

4 spanks out of five- Required reading for X-23 fans, and anyone who are fans of the youngest generation of X-men.
