The Artificial Superman: (Superman) Many years ago, Dr. Charles Corlin discovered and studied Krypton, figuring out how to replicate its environment to give someone superpowers. before he can act on this he is arrested and jailed for embezzlement. By the time he gets out his wife has died so he takes his young son to an island where he is raised under Kryptonian conditions to gain superpowers. when Charles dies, his son Vance heads to Metropolis seeking vengeance. while he destroys things he is careful not to hurt anyone and stops when he learns his dad is actually guilty and his artificial powers soon fade.
