Of Kings, Magic, Friendhip and Dragons
This new arc story (issues # 8 to 14) introduces to us a new art team by Jon Buran (issues # 8 to 11) and Mike Bowde (issues # 11 to 14), and at first I was a little upset that Ludo Lullabi was gone (he´s done a great job in WOW - The Ashbringer) and that the comic art wouldn´t be so great as with him. But as I started reading issue # 8 I immediatly felt good about the art: these guys are awesome too, very capable artists, that have brought new energy and life to the characters, scenarious and images of the comic book. Simonson continues his great run in the comic book as he transports us to another great tale, filled with adventure, magic, action and endurance. Our heroes embarks in a new adventure, as Lo´Gosh, remembering who he is, has to stop his kingdom (Stormwind) from falling and to acomplhish this hard task he can count with his friends Broll (he didn´t get as much atention as in the first arc, so he fights a lot, more in this beasts forms), Valeera (now that she tasted magic, she has become a liability and Broll is trying constantly to help and guide her) and Thargas Anvilmar (a very strong and funny dwarf). This arc is more focused in Lo´Gosh (whose real name is Varian), but other characters gain atentio as well, like Valeera and Thargas, Lo´Gosh´s son Anduin and Katrana Prestor. Dialogues are more elaborated too. And the action is non stop, it´s battle after battle, highly recommended.
