    The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

    As a Wonder Woman fan, which 5 WW characters would you most like to see providing supporting character roles and which 5 WW characters would you like to see continue as prominent villains in the WW rogue's gallery?

    @fodigg: It really is difficult. There is such little consistency between Wonder Woman stories that literally hundreds of minor characters and villains fall to the wayside and continuity gets scrambled into linguine. So I was thinking, if I had to choose 5 supporting characters and 5 villains that were the strongest characters to start over with, who would they be? And, honestly, I'm really finding it hard to think of more than a 4 or 5 contenders... (though I am, admittedly, a novice Wonder Woman fan)

    Supporting Cast: 

    1. Hippolyta, of course.
    2. Steve Trevor
    3. Donna Troy
    4. Ferdinand, the Minotaur. For some reason, he was just a character I instantly loved and wished I could see more of.

    For the supporting cast, I would want: Hippolyta, Donna Troy, Wonder Girl, Steve Trevor, and Artemis.
     
    For her villains, I would want: Cheetah, Devastation, Ares, Dr. Psycho, and Circe

    Supporting Cast:
    1: Hippolyta - Hated that she was dead in the recent story arc.

    2: Donna Troy - I do not care what anyone says, I love her.

    3: Cassandra Sandsmark - Wonder Girl is going to need some balance since she is going to be playing little Ms. Badass in the Teen Titans book.

    4: Artemis - Added later AFTER the Bana-Migdhall are reintroduced.

    5: Athena - I loved the interactions between goddess and worshiper near the end of Volume 2. Having something like that would be awesome even though the promos have hinted that Diana may also be a goddess.

    6: Gotta have a 6th. I Ching. I want to see this new Wonder Woman's martial arts ability regularly.

    Antagonists:
    1: Ares - An obvious one but the few times he played her antagonist have been really fun reads.

    2: Cheetah - Another given but I hope they use her with some consistency this time around. She went from enemy to ally to inexplicably being the enemy again.

    3: Circe - I also hope they have some consistency with her as well.

    4: Dr. Psycho. His crazy love for her is sick. I love it.

    5: Devastation or Genocide. I cannot decide on which.

    Supporting cast: Ferdinand (and the whole Embassy staff, really), Etta, the Kapatelises, Hippolyta, Artemis, Philipus, and Io.  Oh, and maybe the albino gorillas from Gail's run.  And some guest appearances from Black Canary.  Yes, I know that's the most ridiculous list ever, but this is just wishful thinking and logic is overrated. 
     
    Villains: Ares, Medusa, Circe, Cheetah.  Maybe Veronica Cale, depending on how she's handled.
     
    I think the bottom line is I basically want more of Greg Rucka's run with some Perez and Gail thrown in for good measure.  If only...

    Well Hippolyta and Circe are definitely in the new relaunch. You can tell from the solicitation of issue 3 where it says that Hippolyta is keeping a secret from WW that will shock her to her very core....and Circe is on the cover of Men of War 2.
