This issue explains what happened to bring Wonder Woman into Conan's world; apparently, these Crows were able to defeat Wonder Woman and than send her to Conan's world for their blood combat amusement; the Amazons than somehow investigated the matter and sent a group to investigate, including Artemis, who actually connects both versions of the Amazons together as laid out in the Messner-Loebs run; so, in other words, there are no isolated groups of Amazons with totally different philosophies, where one group didn't recognize that another group reproduced by attacking unsuspecting men, as proposed, in order to justify the contradictions from the Azz run.

And, than, Yanna arrives back and this sends Conan into berserker mode against Wonder Woman; the Amazons than bring Wonder Woman back to her reality and leave Conan back to fight the Crows, well, one of them, as one of the Amazons took out one of them, leaving the survivor in a vindictive state with Conan's Yanna. I guess the next issue will patch up some lose ends.

Because those (Azz's) Amazons aren't the real Amazons, they were false creations made by the GODS to prevent Diana from finding the way to the real Paradise Island.

Artemis is still from the Bana Mighdall and has faith in the Egyptian Gods, this was in Red Hood and the Outlaws like way last year.
