I don't think the character is boring. I haven't enjoyed reading her solo comics, other than the George Perez stuff or Justice League, or guest appearances. However, I'd argue right now, Wonder Woman is one of the best comics right now. I think it's the best DC title of the New 52 and I've really liked every issue thus far. Although Batman is my favorite character, the new 52 Batman could learn from Wonder Woman, who is able to balance living with a terrible family (the Gods) and facing gruesome events, yet has a sense of humor, a very positive attitude, and hope inspiring! She's great!

i dont consider myself a purist of wonder woman or superman but wonder woman currently sounds like what superman use to be wich was a great charachter but just not done properly in the comics to the point where maybe people arent interested on that incarnation. now i think if they really want to shed some light on wonder woman they need to do a movie on her. i know alot of people hated mos ( i loved it) and who knows maybe non comic readers would love it

she is not boring, but who is writing her makes it seems so. I really had to drop her solo title because i hate how she isn't interacting with people she is suppose to be building relationship with people who she must i.e wonder girl and superman. So it all depends on thw writing

I do not think she is boring, but I would like find her to be more interesting if she turned into a villain.

i had a similar thought on superman being a villain but a villain wonder woman would be sexy

why would she be a villan?,that's destroying the character completely,she is very interrsting when she has writters that klnows her character and writte her properly,instead of tryin to reinvent her.

but of course,not everybody is going to like a character,it's a subjective topic too,based on a matter of personal taste,but the people who called her boring here,didn't even explain why,and that tells you somethig because let's not forget that most people who call her boring,are trapped in time,thinking about her days in the super friends,lynda carter show,people who still talk about her invisible jet wthat she hasn't used for so long,or they think of the JL cartoon,or JL comics where she is just there more than having a good development,that's the small idea that most of these people have about her,since they have never read a comic of her solo title,which is the place where you find the biggest development of the character.

Since you mentioned about mad fans, it is worth noting that mad fans Lois not has ,such fans has this savage amazon.Fans wonder woman want to death Lois Lane.I did not notice that Lois fans have wished death wonder woman.In addition, fans of the "pair" Superman and wonder woman not recognize and deny the obvious.For example, the fact that Superman can do this with Lois.Or the fact that he all the time thinks of Lois and wants to be with her.

@goblinalghoul: I can tell you one right away, if you are interested. Try Rucka's run. Not as old as Perez's run, but classic enough. if you don't want to read her in solo, then try League of One. Enjoy :)

@goblinalghoul:she has great stories,an amazon warrior trying to learn from both worlds,amazons and the moderrn human world,and all the mythology going around the character is also very interesting if you like characters like xena,kratos and thor(wonder woman brought the mythology stuff to the mainstream before them),you can read perez run,ruka run,simone run ,or azzarello,azzarello's story is still good but in my oppinion hasn't enough action and character development.
