I think we have to blame Vandal Savage for that one since he is one of the most notable immortals in comics and while being immortal appears to be his power, he is virtually unkillable... unless you are Lex Luthor and has a cosmic doorknob to beat him with.
In regards to Thor... I would like to point out that even in terms of mythology the Norse Gods were never ageless or immortal, the only reason they lived for as long as they did was because they regularly consumed one of the Golden Apples of Idunn. Heck one of the more famous saga's revolved around Loki, whisking Idunn off to get married to a giant and all the ageing gods forced him to go get her and the apples back. In terms of comics, the Apples dont appear to have that same significance any more... not to mention the orchard where they grew has likely been destroyed several times over by now. But all things considered, Hippolyta is 3000 years old, sometimes more than twice that, and she looks no older than someone in her prime. Odin is king of Asgard and everyone knows he is the quintessential old bearded toss pot.

I always found Apples in the comics lame considering how characters can be immortal. I would never really put them in the comics.
Asgardia is destroyed so I wonder how will they live.
Loki did say they can run away from from Mangog for millions of years so I guess Aaron is retconing some stuff about it.
@thor321: Fair enough, and to each their own. I personally like the Marvel version slightly better, then actually mythology (it is my religion), then GoW's version. Still favorite game of 2018 so far though.

While he does physically age, as far as I can tell and looking into it, no Asgardian has died from aging/old age. They might eventually die while old or be killed while old, but not of natural causes.
Either way, point is, Diana is definitely immortal through and through until it's canonically said or proven otherwise.
