I liked this issue; I got a sense that the writer, through this story, is starting to catch her grove for what a Wonder Woman story should involve; it's getting away from the Olympian influence and starting to turn it its own direction. Just wish the encounter with those creatures from the pit would have been made more interesting, as they just went down like fodder. I enjoyed this issue and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next. Great King Arthur reference, as I think that's the true origin of this sword; I'm not giving up hope that it's actually Excalibur and Wonder Woman has been mistaken about it.
