Well, the issue abruptly connected to the next story. Just jumps over to Cale and suddenly Dr. Cyber appears, where Dr. Poison suddenly appears, and then, Cheetah suddenly appears captured in the clutches of Cale Industries again; transitioning from the next issue, with Diana enjoying some down time could have really helped and would have been the next logical step for a writer, unless such is being avoided, and, in that case, intentionally sabotaging a writer's own efforts. Even Jason somehow looking for and finding the guy who abruptly abandoned him at a young age so that he could just cut ties with him at a young age; why Jason would decide to go looking for him as the next step from last issue is not explained even a little.

Yeah, it was an abrupt transition from one story to the next. Also I dont really see the point in the Cale/Cyber part of this issue... it would have worked just as fine if we had started with Dr. Poison, we dont need to be told how or why Cale has Cheetah for medical experiments.

As for the wider implications of the issue... ehh, I dont really get the logic at work that everyone who has questions of faith loosing their minds. Like does it mean people who have no faith in gods are completely immune just like people who don't question their faith? And then you have that last page... ok everyone looses their mind and 'she' just appears out of nowhere and attacks Diana, as far as I am aware they don't even live or operate in the same state.

I doubt the teased Supergirl vs Wonder Woman fight will be as good as the Power Girl vs Wonder Woman fight from Simone’s run personally.

I have a hunch Kara will prove surprisingly difficult for a certain reason... she is playing the part of the antagonist this time, while Diana was effectively taking that part in the last SG/WW showdown over the business with H'el.
