Meh. Still doesn't change the fact that it was sexist and straight up garbage.

I didn't care for Whedon's Wonder Woman script but it's not the outrageously sexist piece of crap that it's made out to be, some folks on twitter were acting as if Whedon should enter a monastery to do penance for it

Maybe that's going too far but it was definitely really bad.

It wasn´t a bad script, it was a bad wonder woman script and for Whedon to not recognize that is beyond me. He wrote it from Steve´s perspective forgodsake!

Like ask him what would he think if the first superman movie was written from Lois Lanes perspective or the first Batman movie from Jim Gordan´s. Does that make any sense?

As for the sexism it was about as sexist as most Hollywood movies and I´ll give it this at least it had a good message, that was anti-coporate.

@truethemyscira: I liked it more upon second reading, male-gaze aside, it's actually not as bad as I remembered, it's not exactly my cup of tea but it's true(r) to the source material
