    Wonder Woman

Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8805 issues.

The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

I'm not too familiar with pre-Crisis WW, but Marston's run is generally considered the gold standard from those days.

Her creator has the best stories from those days, and many also believe he wrote the best stories for her in general.

His run was about 28 issues with a few written by a student of his that worked for him but those stories are still under his name. I'd say Issues 1-12,21, and 28 are the best ones to read.

Also, the brief stint where Diana lost her powers in the bronze age, i believe, has been said to have some gems esp stuff written by Samuel Delany. Im sure you can find some of those issues online i know some are on comixology though most of her golden age stuff isnt there. if you need help finding the issues then you, or anyone, can PM me and ill see what i can do

Wow, nice list. It's hard to find any recommendations for Wonder Woman between Marston and Perez, so I might check a few of these out.

Mike Sekowsky's Silver Age run was pretty good.
