She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

    DC has stated that Harley has become almost a 4th pillar in the DC Pantheon, but I think if it wasn't for the massive success of the movie, you could almost say that Harley has surpassed WW and maybe even Superman.

    I know Harley is popular but shes just a side character for Batman, nothing more. The overexposure of Harley is actually getting annoying. They're considering making a Harley Quinn/Gotham City Sirens movie before some of the actual JL members. I know, WB/DC is desperate for money and box office sales but a side character getting an entire movie rather than a core JL member is pretty stupid if you ask me.

    Big guy with the horns, hooves, and staff is Cernunnos. Its got to be, if I know my Celtic myth.

    Well, that's what happens when you overexpose a character. They get popular and people want to see more of them. Ideally. Once that happens, you may as well ride the wave of success. Lord knows they've been beating that Bat-horse for years.
