Or maybe Patty Jenkins just sucks as a comic book movie director.
I've been down on the Wonder Woman film since before it was made, because what I wanted for us Aquaman fans are getting. That's comic book accurate epicness that respects the source material. Comparing the Aquaman trailer to Wonder Woman is like comparing Gal Gadot to Amber Heard, no contest. One is a peanut-butter sandwich the other is a Reeses's cup.
It's upsetting that DC had such little faith and a small budget for Wonder Woman. She doesn't even get to fly.
So you were against it before it ever came out... yeah, please tell us why your opinion matters on this subject?
Well you know I don't mind telling you. I'm a Wonder Woman fan. Not an apologist or excuses maker, but a purest.
I'm not embarrassed by her like DC seems to be and I feel like we deserve comic book accurateness like everybody else.
There was NO respect shown to the source material beginning with the casting of Gal Gadot who looks nothing like Wonder Woman to me. Henry Cavill looks exactly like Superman. Ben Affleck makes a great Batman. We got a skinny chick in a new costume designed to hide that fact.
They then went on to change her origin, her time period and her powers and we're supposed to just sit back and accept it, because the movie says "Wonder Woman" in it's title.
I don't accept table scraps, especially when Aquaman fans are getting a four course meal.
You are this boards answer to a very old man who snarks and spits the moment something isn't entirely to your liking.
Yeah and we got that, but you are still whining because it wasn't what you wanted. Everyone else is happy with the WW movie, except you.
So on top of everything else, the very old man has lost his glasses or his memory about how there is a hundred different versions on how Wonder Woman should look. So yet again, it boils down to you, not the movie or Gal Gadot.
Not the first adaptation (keep that word in mind, maybe look it up because it actually means something) to do so.
Fine then don't watch the movie, I am pretty sure no one in the theater is going to miss an elderly man shouting at how everything is wrong.
