The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
Yea. It's definitely the Eagle. It has been part of Diana's insignia for so long and it's also the symbol of Zeus which gives it ties to Greek Myth and Diana's current origin.
Side note: I like the way it was been combined with the "W" in Diana's costume over the years. Also although not royal families, the house of L has the "S" and the Waynes have the "W".
However if I was asked to personally pick one, I would choose the phoenix. But that's mostly because I like it.
@kevinffinity: Haha and imagine Diana having her own version of the Phoenix force. She technically already does but I think the bird of flames look cooler than the witch stuff.
