razzatazz's Wonder Woman #7 - The Adventure of the Life Vitamin review

The cover on this one is kind of misleading, but I still thought the issue overall was entertaining.  The concept of the entire issue is that Diana and her mother are looking to the future using the Magic Sphere.  They look to the year 3000 when women are now presidents and generals.  There are still some anachronisms from the period when this was written, things like typewriters but overall I thought the stories were fun.  They mostly involve women presidents.  One thing of course is that I hope we don't actually have to wait until the year 3000 for that to happen, but maybe this was considered progressive in the 1950s.  The other story involves Wonder Woman looking ahead only twenty years so she can see the future of a child.  Seeing that actions in the present will benefit her future, Diana does what she can to help her.  I think the issue benefited from being set in the future.  The strained plots of early Wonder Woman seemed a bit more realistic when based there.  Some of the plot devices are still a little stiff, but the issue is not weighed down too heavily by them.  There was also a backup story for Joan of Arc.
