razzatazz's Wonder Woman #60 - Blood and Sand review

    More of the same

This DC wide crossover is turning into somewhat of a dud, especially in this title.  There is very little of actual significance or which is compelling.  Here Diana meets with Batman, the Amazons prepare for an assault on Circe's fortress in the Amazon and Diana follows the goblets impulses to return to Bana-Mighdall where she finds Lobo battling Shim'Tar.  The plot is either far too convoluted or just plain uninteresting at most times and it is not helped at all by sloppy artwork.  The fight sequence was not bad though, nor was the plot twist at the end.  Still Perez's run on this title is almost over and its maybe just as well, as the previous 40 issues have had only a few successes with numerous frustrations.
